NEW BUSINESS
Ms. Negele introduced Steve Egly with Sunshine Publishing. Mr. Egly provided a demonstration on converting a codified Ordinance Book into a digitized CD. The digitzed CD would not be copy right protected and the city would eventually be able to update their CD when necessary. They would also provide a smaller version for Web access. He was able to provide a quote having had earlier access to the Attica City Code book. The total cost for the service is $4,700. He also proposes a refresh option for $250 within a period of three years at a fixed cost of $250. After discussion amongst the council it was agreed that at the next council meeting a decision would be made. Ms. Negele also presented a curtain replacement option with estimated invoices on two different fabrics. A local shop presented Ms. Negele with commercial grade bio protect fabrics that would cover 17 windows. The fabric is washable, meets the highest hygiene requirements, permanently antibacterial and prevents the formation of odors. The estimated cost presented was $10,363.60 and $9,939.68. After discussion amongst the council it was agreed that the heavier fabric may be a better choice and that the proposal should be raised again at the next council meeting
