BOARD OF WORKS & SAFETY
August 17, 2004
The Board of Works and Safety met on the 17th day of August at City hall at 5:30 p.m. Members present: Mr. Deon Swift, Mrs. Kay Gustus and Ms. Sharon Negele.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Minutes of the regular session held on August 3rd, 2004 were approved as prepared on a motion by Mrs. Gustus, seconded by Mr. Swift.
DEPARTMENT HEADS
Ms. Jordan mentioned that she would be contacting Tom O’Connor regarding the area for the proposed Cingular tower. The area may require to be rezoned.
CLAIMS
Claims in the amount of $124,857.62 as shown by the claims and allowance docket, were presented to the board. Mrs. Gustus made a motion to pay the claims, seconded by Mr. Swift.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to be brought before the board, Mrs. Gustus made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Swift seconded the motion.
