OF WORKS & SAFETY

The
Board of Works and Safety met on the 7th day of February at City Hall at 5:30
p.m. Members present: Mr. Deon Swift,
Mr. Duane Roderick, Ms. Sharon Negele.
APPROVAL
OF MINUTES
Minutes
of the regular session held on January 17, 2006 were approved as prepared on a
motion by Mr. Swift, seconded by Mr. Roderick, all ayes.
DEPARTMENT
HEADS
Mr.
O’Farrell announced that the leak on Tanker 11 appears to be fixed. There have
been no signs of leakage for 2 weeks.
Mr. Swift asked Mr. Snoeberger to investigate
several properties that require ordinance violations due to trash.
Ms.
Jordan will start demolition procedures on the 1104 N. Perry property. She is
researching the whereabouts of the owner of 403 N. Perry, which needs a porch
repaired.
CLAIMS
Claims
in the amount of $177,941.46 as shown by the Claims and Allowance docket, were
presented to the board. Mr. Roderick
made a motion to pay the claims, seconded by Mr. Swift, all ayes.
ADJOURNMENT
There
being no further business to be brought before the board; Mr. Roderick made a
motion to adjourn and Mr. Swift seconded the motion, all ayes.
