OF WORKS & SAFETY
June
7, 2005
The
Board of Works and Safety met on the 7th day of June at City Hall at 5:30
p.m. Members present: Mr. Deon Swift,
Mr. Roderick, Mr. O’Connor and Ms. Sharon Negele.
APPROVAL
OF MINUTES
Minutes
of the regular session held on May 17th, 2005 were approved as prepared on a
motion by Mr. Roderick, seconded by Mr. Swift, all ayes.
DEPARTMENT
HEADS
Mr.
Jean reported that with the improved conditions we have had high pool
attendance. Mr. Snoeberger announced
that the police car ordered this year is in and should be road ready by mid
July. Mr. O’Farrell informed the board
that he conversed with Midwest Fire (Dealer) regarding the damaged Aerial and
that the basket will have to be replaced and the cost is $28,500. Upon delivery
of the Aerial to the manufacturer in Wisconson the
vehicle will be out of service approximately 4 weeks. Ms.
CLAIMS
Claims
in the amount of $188,026.58 as shown by the claims and allowance docket, were
presented to the board. Mr. Roderick
made a motion to pay the claims, seconded by Mr. Swift, all ayes.
ADJOURNMENT
There
being no further business to be brought before the board; Mr. Roderick made a
motion to adjourn and Mr. Swift seconded the motion, all ayes.
